  • Book/Magazine + Digital Album

Limited run of a comic zine with lyrics from the album Orchid as well as a prose poem by Corey Parlamento. The drawings (graphite on paper, made by Mary Moore Dalton in Feb 2024) are not only a visual narration of the lyrical content but a further exploration of the emotional space beyond the music. They are an attempt to give some form to real and imagined personal histories as well as a container for a conversation between two artists. Thanks to Matt for the painting on the cover and to Saige for the layout design. All proceeds will go to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund.

lyrics

Sunday is a falling day for the gods of no ambition
The heaven of the morning drifts away.
You are slumped in to a chair in all your visions of tomorrow
I hear the devil debriefing the day

Take what you can

In the kitchen it is crashing it is burning it is drowning
The bells are always tolling in the air
Your body is a nail pinched in the finger of the crown
The hammer is forever falling down

Take what you can

But, someday
